As the city of Nashville balloons in population, capturing the cynical, artistic, old soul that lies in the heart of the city was my top priority. I refined my workflow for poster illustration, working out the pencils traditionally and oversized, which gave me a unified sense of scale and tight control over the line quality before I went in with the inks. I’m proud that my illustration was selected as the official poster for the 2023 festival, becoming the first in event history to sell out. Graphis new talent honorable mention
